The company was founded as a natural development from an established and very successful Health, Safety and Environment Consultancy.
Health, Safety and Environment are important elements of a CSR programme, which is why the development of our company was a natural outcome of what we have been doing for over 20 years.

An important distinction is that health, safety and environmental concerns are largely driven by legislation and organisations who don't comply may be called to account in a court of law.
For the most part, Corporate Social Responsibility is voluntary and organisations may be called to account by public opinion, which can be much harsher in its judgements than the law.

Our website name originated when a business venture that paid little attention to Corporate Social Responsibility had to close down.
The owner realised that business can and should be operated for the benefit of everyone - Shareholders, Employees, Customers, Suppliers and Society – all with equal priority. Hence the concept of doing business "on the other side of the coin"
Although this principle may be difficult to put into practice, it is possible and the rewards are well worth it.
Helping others or giving aid to third-world countries may not be the first priority for many business people, which is why we emphasise the tangible business benefits from doing so.
Businesses and consumers like to deal with those they can trust. Building trust takes time but the truly ethical business has a massive advantage over its competitors.
